The rules make sense, but you'll have to know how they work before you believe that they make sense.
Notice how there are "Rules of (BOARD NAME)" threads in every board?
They tell you which of the rules apply!
Ex: Rules 1 & 5 apply.
That means that the rules 1 & 5 are the only rules for that certain board.
If you still find it confusing, ask for help!
